“Dry Mount” is a process by which a paper or perhaps
fabric piece is permanently adhered to a Fomecore or mat
board substrate. It allows posters, prints, photos or
paper products to be “ironing board” flat and prevents
any wrinkling or “wash boarding” of pieces in a frame.
Some already wrinkled pieces may be helped by the dry
mount process, minimizing the damage. Dry mount is
permanent so a consultation is warranted.
There is also a process called
a “plaque laminate” which, like dry mount is permanent
but also has a membrane on the surface that acts like
non-glare glass protecting the piece and is on a board
which is much heavier and allows it to be hung as-is on
the wall. For more information on plaques,

pieces we have done. |
